The Biggest Risk Posed by Climage Change (is Not What We Think)

The biggest risk posed by climate change isn’t sea level rise, drought, food shortage, extinction, mass migration, or disease, though we face all of that.

The biggest risk is our failure to imagine a better world and commit to fighting for it. It’s our failure to live according to the principles we cherish, to rise beyond the divided life nearly all of us lead.

We fix that and we fix everything that it’s possible for us to fix.

In your heart, there is something you’re willing to die for. You may not know it, but it’s there. Attend to it, and you’ll have lived, maybe for the first time.
